Kratin

Design for the Kratin species I mentioned in my Lieutenant Leon post. I wanted to make them look as evil as possible. This particular Kratin is part of their civilian caste. The warrior caste would have armor made from the bones of their victims (somewhat like the Reavers from "Firefly").

Kratins are a warrior race by nature. They don't really conquer; they prefer to kill and maim their victims instead of oppressing them. A group of Kratins attacked Lieutenant Leon's homeworld when he was a child, murdering his entire village while he watched from his hiding spot before they were driven off by United Terran Federation forces. Since then, the Kratins have been forced to the dark recesses of the galaxy, patiently waiting for their return to power, so they can wipe out all other life from the galaxy.
