Thunderhead Rising

Took this yesterday as it passed south of us. A small part of a much larger storm cloud, but this part was rising the fastest. I mean, it was rising really fast. There's actually a term for a kind of cloud like that: mushroom cloud. I know, I didn't believe it either when I first heard of it, but this cloud was rising like one, let me tell you. Good thing I was far enough away from it; I sure didn't want to be caught under it if it started pouring. Still, I find a kind of beauty in seeing natural events like this from a distance.
